is certified through the U. S. Department of
Health and Human Services as a participant in the Medicare program, and is
licensed through the
Texas Department of State Health Services, which performs periodic surveys of the hospital to assure that the
hospital remains in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
In 1997, W.J. Mangold Memorial
Hospital received designation by the Texas Department of Health as a Level IV
Trauma facility, exhibiting the hospital's commitment to providing quality
emergency and trauma care to its patients. The hospital has continued to
successfully maintain this designation.
The Laboratory Department of
W.J. Mangold Memorial Hospital is certified through the U. S. Department of
Health and Human Services CLIA program, which assures that it maintains
proficiency in its lab testing.
