W.J. Mangold Memorial Hospital is designated Level IV Trauma Facility through the Texas Department of Health. Its new emergency department, which was completed in 1998, includes state-of-the art equipment to assure that patients receive the highest quality emergency care available. A heli-pad is adjacent to the emergency room entrance.
